Scouting for Food

To support MUST Ministries Rapid Response Food Drive

Scouts from Troop 1011 of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church are collecting food for MUST Ministries Rapid Response Food Drive.  The effort began on May 19 and will continue until May 30.  The Rapid Response program is designed to help at-risk students and their families during the COVID-19 forced closing of schools.

The Troop’s 83 members are asking friends and neighbors to contribute these needed items:

Needed Items:
Bags of Pasta Beef Stew Canned Beans
Canned Carrots Canned Corn Canned Fruit
Canned Meats (Tuna/Chicken) Canned Mixed Veggies Canned Pasta
Canned Potatoes Chunky Soup Condensed Soup
Mac & Cheese Ramen Noodles Rice (5lb or less)
Spaghetti Tomato Product

 

Scouts will bring the collected donations to Mt. Bethel UMC on May 31.  Troop 1011 will sort and package the donations beginning at 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
