Scouts and Parents,
I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving break!
WE HAVE TWO BIG DEADLINES THIS WEEK.
If you have not re-chartered, scouts please click here and do so now. The Deadline is Saturday, December 15. Adult leaders register here by the same date. All paperwork will be submitted to BSA on December 17. If you miss the deadline, then you must wait til January 1, 2019 to resubmit all paperwork and pay fees of $125. So, please avoid the pain and re-charter now.
Also, sign-up for the Court of Honor on December 3. Dinner is served at 6:30 pm and the awards ceremony begins as soon as you are fed! Deadline for Court of Honor signup is Tuesday, November 27.
We have much for which Troop 1011 should be thankful. We have a great class of young scouts in the Sharks and Hawks patrols. The Wolf-Dragons are making progress towards First Class and Beyond. Vikings and Cobras have done great work helping with campouts and merit badges. Panther Patrol provides the troop with our SPL and ASPL’s.
Scorpions and Wolverines are becoming Eagles! Alex Reale passed his Eagle Board of Review in November, and Preston Cobb earned his wings in October. Congratulations to you both! Trevor Caffrey’s Eagle project was a success. Jake Moultrie completed his as well and Sameer Joseph is making excellent progress towards completing his. I know Michael Yao and Noah Norgren’s projects will be just as successful. Look for opportunities to help them in December.
And, we are thankful to have a new storage shed! Special thanks for Mr. Perry Walter for managing this project! Demolition and foundation work provided by Mr. Doug Turner, Mr. Tony Elmiger, Mr. Mark Hess, Mr. Greg Stewart, Mr. Bill Moultrie and Mr. Jack Wei! We will schedule work times to build shelves and move the gear from the Annex to the shed soon! We owe Mr. Croswell Brim a big THANK YOU for his hard work and engineering skills donated to the cause.
Both camping events, Black Rock and Niklasson farm were outstanding!! Thank you to Mr. Robert Donner and Mr. Michael Ghioto for your assistance in organizing these campouts. We had a great turnout of ASMs and parents to help with both events. Thank you for your service! And, thank you to Mr. Jon Jordan who led a great day hike to Panther Falls.
Do take time to register for the following service events:
30 November 2018 Marietta After School Scouting Program Campout.

You will also camp overnight. Dismissal is the next morning at 10:30. Great opportunity for service hours! Adult leaders, your help is requested as well. Please send me a note indicating you want to help! Also, if you have sleeping bags you wish to donate, let me know.
